Day 20 - Consecrated Prayer for President

This is day 20 of consecrated prayer for President Barack Obama and family.  Today the President and Vice President took the oath of office.  The oath is repeated by the President to swear him into office.  A judge presides over the ceremony.  A statement in the oath declares, "So help me God."  The President will need the help of God, the Father, Jesus, the Son, and Holy Spirit in the upcoming days.  Let Christians hold true to God's word in 1 Timothy 2:2 and make intercession for him and the first family.  Let Christians remember that God is the righteous judge and knows full well the intents of the heart.  Abandon grumbling and complaining to grasp Holy Spirit led prayer for the President.  The inauguration is tomorrow!  Praying for God success!

God Changes Hearts and Minds: We cannot!

Greetings Believers,

God is able to influence and impact lives.  He is able to change us and others.  We cannot.  The Psalmist accurately wrote:

Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:10-12

Let us continue to pray diligently for the President according to God's will!  E-Book: Letters to God for the President!

Day 11, Praise in Prayer!~

Praise is very important in prayer.  Gratitude and thanksgiving are significant when talking with God.  He is worthy of the praise.  The King James Version of the Bible states:

But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel."(Psalm 22:3)

God is actually dwelling in the praises of His people.  Praise can win great battles read 2 Chronicles 20:1-30.  King Jehoshaphat and the tribe of Judah (praise) appointed men to sing to the Lord and praise Him for His holiness.  God fought the battle for them and won it.  He told them before hand that He would do it.  God is wonderful!  Praise Jesus!

Continue to join in for these of consecrated prayers and praise for the President!

Thank You and Blessings,

Day 8 ~ Consecrated Prayer 4 the President!

Recently, I have found out that barak has a hebrew meaning connected with prayer.

Read the following from a post on facebook:

It has to do with praising the Lord God. Barak means "to kneel down, to bless God as an act of adoration.""to bow down in a worshipful attitude, to bless God expecting to receive something. This word is often translated bless and is used 330 times in the Old Testament (See Psalm 28:6; 66:20; 72:15; 100:4; 95:6)."http://www.victorychurch.nu/articles/seven_ways_to_offer_praise

When we kneel before God in worship and adoration, it please Him.  Bless God today and everyday.  Let us continue to pray for leadership especially the President!   1 Timothy 2:1-2

Glory unto God!~

Day 5 ~ Prayer Changes People and Things!~

Let the people of pray earnestly, persistently and with boldness for the President!

40 “Now, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
41 “Now arise, Lord God, and come to your resting place,
you and the ark of your might.
May your priests, Lord God, be clothed with salvation,
may your faithful people rejoice in your goodness.
42 Lord God, do not reject your anointed one.
Remember the great love promised to David your servant.”

God is hearing our prayers saints!  The Most High God is answering and making shifts of change.  Sifting out the chaff from among the wheat.  He is changing people's hearts and things (circumstances, etc).  Differences are being made in the heavens.  Do not be weary in  prayer.  A harvest will come forth in due season.  Receive God's answers to these prayers for the President.  Amen and Praise Jesus!~

Blessings in Jesus Name,

Day 3 of 21: Keep the Prayers Moving!~

God has clearly given each Christian a mandate to pray for leadership.  Paul, the apostle spoke by the power of the Holy Spirit:

"1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles."(1 Timothy 2:1-7)

"Praying 4 the President" is being pressed by the Holy Spirit to influence and impact others to put a shield of prayer around the President and His Family.  Let Christians keep the throne room that is filled with grace and mercy with specific, persistent petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving for the President and all those in leadership.

All glory be to God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the precious Holy Spirit.
